We offer ground kaolins that have a composition of mixed kaolins from different origins, guaranteeing their homogeneities and properties. These kaolins have brilliant whiteness and rheology, especially for engobes, porcelain or sanitaryware. They can be delivered in bulk, in tanker lorries, sacks or large bags.

VICAR offers various atomised engobes bases suitable for pottery, tiles and construction elements. They can be used as a base or they can also be added with frits and ceramic colours to adjust the expansion, melting or colour tones.

Mixtures of ground natural clays with a constant humidity (8-12%). These clays are suitable for the frits, engobes and ceramic colouring industry. They are made according to customer requirements. They can also be supplied in large bags, sacks, bulk and silos.

Mixtures of different purified clays, deferrised for the formulation of ceramic compositions, can also be used as a base for engobes. These are available in white, orange and yellow.

Refractory engobes used to provide protection for refractory parts. These engobes have a firing temperature of 1200°C to 1300°C.
